Australian Government response to the Senate Standing Committee on Community Affairs inquiry: The worsening rental crisis in Australia – interim and final reports

On 14 May 2024, the government tabled its response to the recommendations of the Senate Standing Committee on Community Affairs Inquiry into the worsening rental crisis in Australia.

This response addresses the recommendations raised in the report. Treasury and the Department of Social Services coordinated and prepared the response.
